Things are beginning
to happen when you're 10 weeks pregnant. Your baby is now starting
to move inside your womb. Don't worry if you can't feel anything
yet. It's still too early to feel any movement.
At 10 weeks
pregnant, your baby is now just over an inch long. Can you believe
that? Even at just an inch, the baby now has most all of its joints,
including the shoulders, ankles, writs, elbows, hands, fingers,
feet and toes.
Baby weighs
in at a whopping 4 grams. Other things that are going on with your
baby include genitalia which are starting to differentiate from
each other, although it's also too soon to know if it's a boy or
girl. Spinal nerves are continuing to grow, as well as toenails
that are beginning to make an appearance.
Now that you're
10 weeks pregnant, morning sickness should begin to subside over
the next few weeks. This is good news indeed!
You may also
feel like you're showing signs of being pregnant, but it is still
a little soon for anyone else to notice a difference and begin asking
you about it. What is starting to happen though, is your waistline
is beginning to go away.
Due to an increased
blood volume in your body, you may notice that your veins are showing,
when in the past this never occurred. Don't worry, it's normal.
This happens quite frequently in the legs and breasts, when you're
10 weeks pregnant.
If you have
seen your doctor lately then you should have now been able to hear
your baby's heartbeat. What an incredible feeling!
So many wonderful
things are now starting to happen, and there is much more in store.
Continue getting plenty of rest during your pregnancy, and stay
on a healthy diet. Talk to your doctor about any health issues and
ask any questions that you have. Congratulations, you've made it
to being 10 weeks pregnant.
