7 Weeks Pregnant

Although you probably are not showing yet, you are experiencing some changes to your body, including breast soreness and darkening of the areolas around your nipples. You may have gained a few pounds or, due to morning sickness, even lost a few pounds. Your pregnancy is still in the very early stages. However, the baby's development is continuing at a rapid pace.

Your baby's facial features are taking shape, as are his or her arms and legs. The heart is even beating 150 times per minute! All of this is happening in what is still a very tiny, curled up little package--the baby is only about the size of a pea!

Hopefully you're in contact with your care provider and are taking good care of yourself--your body is now sustaining two lives!
