9 Weeks Pregnant

Not a lot has changed with you, Mom--just more of the same: hormones are raging, you're beginning to show in slight ways, the breasts are tender, and you're dealing with both fatigue and occasional nausea.

During the next week or two, a turning point will occur, and you will begin to feel better emotionally as well as physically. Hang in there!

As for the baby, rapid growth continues. Noticeable now are eyelids, fingers, thumbs, and the baby is responding to external stimuli as well. He or she is too small to feel, though.

Intimacy with your mate may be going better than ever, with your body's voluptuousness increasing interest and worries about birth control out the window. Go for it--there's no danger of hurting the baby! Emotional swings could hinder things, but hopefully when the feeling hits, you make the most of it.
